Visa Application Fees
To apply for a visa, you will have to pay a visa fee and a service fee.
The visa fee is collected on behalf of the Consular Authority and the service fee is collected for the processing of your visa application at TLScontact.
To apply for a visa, you will have to pay:
- Visa fee - collected for the of the Consular Authority for the application processing;
- Service fee - collected for the processing of your visa application at TLScontact.
Attention: Payment of the visa fee and the service fees do not give any guarantee or right that a visa will be granted. The visa fee and service fee are both non-refundable and non-transferable if the visa application is denied by the Embassy staff or if the applicant decides to terminate his or her application.

* The visa fee, only collectable in XAF, may change as a result of currency fluctuation.
Visa fee is mandatory for all visa applications, except for children under 6 years of age. Family Reunion Article 40 (FR art 40) and scholarship holders are exempt from this fee.
The visa fee is fixed in EUR but payable only in XAF. The exchange rate between these currencies is decided by the Consular Authority and is updated periodically, therefore the amount you are requested to pay may differ from those quoted above.
The service fee, mandatory for any visa application, is EUR 43.10 / XAF 28,500.00. It is payable "online" during the appointment booking process. This amount has been decided in agreement with the Consular Authority and corresponds to the different services provided by the TLScontact centre (i.e. visa application reception, data processing, information collection, appointments booking, etc.).
The return of passport for any request made in the centre of Douala is done exclusively by courier.
