Visa Application Fees
To apply for a visa, you will have to pay a visa fee and a service fee.
The visa fee is collected on behalf of the Consular Authority and the service fee is collected for the processing of your visa application at TLScontact.
To apply for a visa, you will have to pay:
- Visa fee - collected for the of the Consular Authority of Belgium;
- Service fee - collected for the processing of your visa application at TLScontact.
Please note: Payment of visa fees and service charges does not guarantee that a visa will be granted. Both visa fees and service charges are non-refundable and non-transferable if the visa application is refused by the administration or if the applicant decides to terminate their application.

* These fees must be paid only in DZD and may fluctuate according to the chancellery rate in force.
Visa fees are fixed in Euros (EUR) but payable only in DZD. The exchange rate between these currencies is decided by the Consulate and is updated periodically; It may therefore happen that the amount to be paid in DZD differs from the amounts indicated above. Please note that the fee receipt for your visa application only mentions the amount paid in Euros.
The service fee is 4,135.00 DZD. These fees are to be paid for any visa application. The amount of the service fee was decided in agreement with the Embassy of Belgium in Algeria and corresponds to the various services of TLScontact (reception of the visa application, data processing, collection of information, booking of appointments, etc.).
Free admission is applied to the following categories of applicants:
- Children under 6 (short stay);
- Spouse of Belgian national;
- Spouse of EU national;
- Researchers traveling within the European Union (short stay) for the purpose of scientific research.
