Procedure

• Make sure you select the correct visa type, corresponding to the purpose of your stay, and read carefully the list of supporting documents that you must submit with your visa application.
• Prepare your documents carefully, in order to submit a complete file on the day of your appointment. 

  LEGALISATION OF DOCUMENTS FOR YOUR VISA APPLICATION

  If you need to get supporting documents legalised for your visa application (e.g. parental authorisation, Annex 32, etc.) please first book an appointment for legalisation via our dedicated website. Once you have obtained your legalised documents, you can then book an appointment to submit your visa application, following the process outlined below.

Complete your Visa On Web form, before making an appointment at our centre. Once your application is validated, you will be able to print your form from the Visa On Web website. Please note that you must sign your form and bring it to our visa application centre on the day of your appointment. 

If you are travelling in a group, please also provide details of the people accompanying you. Submit the group form once you have finished.

Click on "Make an appointment" on the Visa On Web website to be redirected to the TLScontact website. Select a convenient date and time to submit your application at our visa application centre. 

To confirm your appointment, you will need to pay the service fee via our online payment platform (within 30 minutes) or the Fawry stores (within 24 hours). Once payment has been made, you will receive a confirmation email with the day and time of your appointment. 

If payment is not received within the deadline, the appointment will be cancelled.

You can change the date and time of your appointment once, through your personal account on the TLScontact website. This change must be made at least 48 hours before the date and time of your original appointment. 

Please note that fees for any additional services will not be reimbursed even if you cancel your appointment in advance. If you don't attend your appointment or don't submit your application (withdrawal, incorrect visa type, etc.) TLScontact will retain your service fee and will not reimburse it. 

IMPORTANT: For long-stay visas, children aged 2 years or above must attend their appointment in person. 

Please arrive on time for your appointment with your appointment confirmation letter and the required supporting documents for your visa application. If you are late or do not attend your appointment, you will need to book a new appointment.

Your application and supporting documents will be checked according to the consular authority requirements, and your biometric data will be captured. Your file will then be transferred to the consular authority, once you have paid the relevant fee.

Your visa application will be processed by the consular authority. TLScontact is in no way involved in the decision-making process.

You can track your application at any time by logging into your personal account on the TLScontact website.

Once a decision has been made on your visa application, your passport will be returned to the TLScontact visa application centre and you will receive a notification by SMS. 

You have several options: 

1. Collect your passport in person

You will need to bring: 

• your application checklist;
• the original and a copy of your photographic identity document.

2. Collect your passport through a representative

This third party must then present:

• your application checklist;
• a copy of your photographic identity document;
• the original and a copy of their photographic identity document;
• a letter of proxy signed by you (and clearly stating the representative's details). 

3. Receive your passport at the address of your choice

If you have chosen the Express Courier Return service, your passport will be sent to the address you chose when you submitted your visa application.
