On 22 May 2024, the Official Journal of the European Union published Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/1415 of 14 March 2024 amending Regulation (EC) No 810/2009 as regards the amount of the visa fee, which you will find in the appendix.

This means that starting from 11 June 2024, the visa fee will increase from EUR 80 to EUR 90 for short-stay visas for adults and from EUR 40 to EUR 45 for short-stay visas for children aged 6 to 12 years.

The visa fee amount remains unchanged for countries benefiting from a visa facilitation agreement, staying at EUR 35, except for Cape Verde nationals, for whom the visa fee will increase from EUR 60 to EUR 67.50 for adults and from EUR 30 to EUR 33.75 for children aged 6 to 12 years.

All applicants who have booked or will book their appointments on or after the 3rd of March 2024, will attend the appointment at our new location: Building B9, the 3rd floor, Capital Business Park, Western Periphery of El-Sheikh Zayed City, 6th of October, Egypt.

Note:If you have submitted your application at our center in El-Mohandseen and have not requested the courier service, and your passport is ready for collection; if you will collect it on or after the 3rd of March 2024, please visit us at our new location mentioned above.

Children aged 2 years and above must come in person to the centre to apply for a long-stay visa, and children aged 12 years and above must come in person to apply for a short-stay visa.

With the onset of EG.5 virus, it is highly recommended during this period to:1. Keep physical distance of at least 1 metre from others, even if they don’t appear to be sick. Avoid crowds and close contact.2. Wear a properly fitted mask when physical distancing is not possible and in poorly ventilated settings.3. Clean your hands frequently with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.4. Cover your mouth and nose with a bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Dispose of used tissues immediately and clean hands regularly.

Starting from the 15th of November 2022 for long stay visa application and from 20th of November 2022 for short stay visa application, if some documents in your visa application need to be legalized, for example: Parental authorization, Annex 32 …. etc., please do not book a visa appointment for the time being, first please book an appointment for legalization, legalize and collect your documents, then book a visa appointment to submit a complete visa application.
