Acceptance of 2025 visa fee payments until 31 January 2026

Until Friday 31 January 2026, applications may include proof of payment made in 2025, even if the amount paid corresponds to the previous visa fee.

This applies to applications submitted in January 2026, provided that:

the payment receipt is dated in 2025, and

the visa fee paid matches the amount in force at the time of payment.

Example

An application for a Humanitarian visa (Article 9bis) submitted on Friday 10 January 2026 may include a payment receipt dated Sunday 15 December 2025 for €368, even though the current fee is €377.

From 1 February 2026, all applications must include proof of payment for the current visa fee.
