Long-stay visa fee update

From 1 July 2026, the fee for long-stay visa (D visa) applications will increase to €250.

If you already have an appointment scheduled on or after 1 July 2026, the new fee will apply when you submit your visa application.

Please ensure that you pay the updated fee on the day of your appointment.

The Uganda Ministry of Health (MoH) has implemented mandatory Ebola screening and health documentation at Entebbe International Airport (EIA) and all land border points for all travellers.

Mandatory entry requirements

Passenger Locator Form: Fill out the mandatory form accessible at https://self.chewsug.health/ .
Port health screening: Complete mandatory health screening and checks upon crossing or landing.
Hand hygiene: Use enhanced sanitation stations throughout airport terminals and border checkpoints.
Symptom reporting: Report any illness immediately to port health officials on-site.
